Add in the smooth way the powertrain operates, its sharp handling, a reasonably comfortable ride, and intuitive controls, and this is one of the best compact cars on the market.
A couple of years back, we tested a luxury German sedan costing around $50K, followed by the same-size Sentra. It was eye-opening. We liked the Sentra more in practically every possible way. So, you are a die-hard Honda shopper and owner, and you are going to buy a practical Honda in the Civic’s price range but you really want/need all-wheel drive.
It’s made even better by the choice of adding AWD. Every Camry has a spare tire. So, if you want what the Civic can offer but also want AWD and a spare, cross shop the Camry.
